Hatstand is a specialist consultancy within the financial markets arena and has a new opportunity for an accomplished and ambitious C# Developer. A key investment banking client is seeking an addition to a project team which is building a new trade capture platform for their Structured Credit Derivatives business. The business currently utilise the wider Fixed Income technology for trade capture and require a dedicated trade booking and processing platform which is optimised for the capture of very complex credit products.
You will perform a full life cycle analyst/developer role within a client-facing, communicative team who utilise Agile methodologies (including pair programming). The team aim for 2 releases per month and the initial work will focus on the development of new GUI templates to facilitate trade booking.
The team are seeking an academically accomplished, strong C# developer who is seeking a green-field full life cycle role where he/she will interact with customers regularly. You will demonstrate significant expertise in developing enterprise, n-tier systems within a commercial environment and be able to work both collaboratively and independently. You will have strong skills in both a client and Server Side C# development, GUI development (Winforms/WPF), Webservices, XML/XSLT and SQL (any database).
You will have a sound understanding of Agile development methodologies and ideally knowledge of the software build process and tools such as Subversion, TeamCity etc. In addition, experience of Excel integration into .NET will be beneficial.
